HeidiTools is a collection of file format conversion utilities for Mac
users who exchange data with users of MS-D*S and Un*x-based computers.
There are many good freeware utilities that handle such conversions, but
finding them and learning how to make them work is seldom obvious.
HeidiTools provides a convenient front-end for these tools, with on-line
help to explain the basics. Most of the utilities invoked by HeidiTools are
freeware; all are available from on-line services and users groups.
In addition to the sub-launching utilities, the stack includes a
D*S <-> Un*x <-> Mac line endings translator, a utility that sets
the creator code for text files, and Stuff and UnStuff buttons
which make use of the StuffIt XCMDs and the StuffIt Engine (TM),
(part of the StuffIt Deluxe (TM) package). These utilities work in
single file or batch mode.

stack is freeware; feel free to customize it for your own use, but please
